Svaroopa® yoga is especially good at cultivating a quiet mind, as it is a slower-paced yoga. When the mind is relaxed, the body can let go of deeply held tensions.

Svaroopa@ yoga uses props to meet you where you are at and move you forward, with support and alignment. Every pose sequence is crafted to release the tensions around your spine and pelvis from the tailbone on up to the top.
You’ll be amazed at how comfortable this yoga is and at how fast your body changes!
Each class in our 6-week Starter Series includes:

FAQ
Can I Drop-in to these Classes?
This is a sequential course, crafted to build on each weeks’ progress, so drop-in classes are not available.
Do I Bring Anything?
All props and blankets are provided. You may want to bring your own personal thick yoga blanket and a water bottle. Mats are only used under blankets on wood floors.
Are Drop in Classes Available?
Beginning in March, drop-in classes may be available if classes are not full. Classes have a low maximum, so pre-registration is needed.
How much time will I need for Home Practice?
We recommend a daily practice of at least 20 minutes. Yet, even just five minutes of the simple & profound breathing practice you’ll learn is a great quick fix!
Do I need anything for Home Practice?
With creativity, you likely have quilts, heavy blankets and firm cushions at home. Once you’ve experienced Svaroopa® Yoga, you may want to get your own set of blankets, blocks and a basic metal folding chair. I offer periodic group orders for these items at a substantial discount.
Is Svaroopa® Yoga a Religion?
The Svaroopa® Sciences are taught here. Yoga is recognized as a philosophy and a science, ie, its processes can be repeated for the same results. Svaroopa@ Yoga is grounded in Kashmiri Shiavism, considered the most highly advanced yogic philosophy.
